This has been the club's busiest season since it was established in 2000 now having 23 teams in the STTA domestic league. A total of 57 senior and 47 junior members participated in these teams and again achieved many honours throughout the season.
At national level for the first time the club competed in the Senior British League allowing our senior players have a taste of strong competition. At junior level the club had 5 teams in the National Junior League, one being a girl's team, and 4 teams in the National Cadet League.
The club's junior coaching programme is at its maximum with 83 players, aged 7 - 17, participating in regular coaching squads. We may have to consider limiting the numbers in the future as these sessions are very busy.
For the fourth consecutive year the club organized another fund raising dance -on this occasion in partnership with Waterside TTC (another local junior coaching club). The evening was a success with members from both clubs enjoying themselves raising funds for a good cause.
The club currently has a membership of 137 players of all standards flying the club's flag locally and nationally.
Anne and Gary wish to thank those members and non-members who have assisted and supported the coaching programme for the young players who will become the future of local and national table tennis.
