Again, another busy season, but maybe the club was beginning to feel the strain of its size and lack of administrative and coaching support. Club membership decreased to just under 100 and junior coaching numbers decreased – this was partly due to coaches not being able to commit their time to coaching groups. However the club still had 23 teams in the local league and national competitions and still won many local and county titles.

The highlight of the social year was the club’s trip to Guernsey in October 2007. 22 club members – juniors, seniors and veterans, played at the Guernsey TTC and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, socially and sportingly – the table tennis was also very good!

It was anticipated at the club’s AGM that teams and membership would decline in the next season.
